Privacy, the short version.
Last updated · 23 June 2026
Apithings runs this site the way it builds its products: collect as little as possible. Here is exactly what apithings.net does — and does not do — with your data.
Who we are
This site is published by Apithings, a software studio based in Lyon, France (SIREN 890 251 184). We are the data controller for apithings.net. For any privacy question, email xavier@apithings.net.
What this site collects
As little as possible. apithings.net is a static site with no account, login, or web form. It sets no cookies and runs no advertising. We do use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics (PostHog, hosted in the EU) to count anonymous visits and see which links are useful — it stores no cookies, builds no profile of you, and collects no personal data. We do not sell or share anything.
Server logs
Like any website, our host keeps standard technical request logs (such as IP address, timestamp, page requested, and browser) to serve the pages and guard against abuse. This site is hosted on Vercel and served from the EU (Paris region). These logs are short-lived and are not used to identify or track you.
When you email us
If you contact us, we receive your message and your email address so we can reply. We use them only for that conversation, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email xavier@apithings.net and we will respond. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data-protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with an updated date above.
